Chimney Park

Serving Weld County

Updated October 2026.

Chimney Park takes its name from the Windsor park at its heart, a recreation hub of ball fields, courts, and playgrounds that was famously rebuilt through community volunteerism and donations after the 2008 tornado. The surrounding streets hold an unusual mix for Windsor: established single-family homes from the 1970s through the 1990s, the post-2020 Townhomes at Chimney Park adding modern lock-and-leave courtyards, and even a few estate parcels near the park edge. Location is the draw — this is one of the few southeast Windsor areas where you can walk to both Windsor Lake and Boardwalk Park on the north end and reach Main Street's restaurants, breweries, and the Farmers Market in a few more minutes. The Poudre River Trail and Eastman Park are a short ride away, and commuter access to Highway 34, Highway 257, and I-25 keeps Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley all within easy reach. Windsor School District RE-4 serves the area. The 2021-built townhomes carry an HOA that covers water, sewer, exterior maintenance, and snow removal, while most of the single-family streets have no HOA — worth verifying parcel by parcel, as with any older Windsor neighborhood.

Chimney Park is a southeast Windsor neighborhood built around the namesake community park and its ball fields — an easy walk to Windsor Lake, Boardwalk Park, and downtown Main Street, with a mix of long-time single-family homes and newer townhome courtyards.
