Serving Weld County
Updated October 2026.
Sunset Ridge is one of Severance's earlier modern subdivisions — Weld County records carry it in several filings, with active listings in October 2026 across the main plat and the 3rd Filing at $440,000 to $625,000, built between 2014 and 2021. Because it started earlier than Tailholt or Hunters Crossing, the trees are bigger and the neighborhood reads as established rather than new. Housing is single-family, mostly ranch and two-story plans with three-car garages and open layouts; lots are typical suburban width with fenced yards. The west-side location keeps the Great Western Trail close and puts Windsor's retail, medical and school services a short drive south while the I-25 interchange stays within a few minutes. Schools are Weld RE-4, including Severance Middle and High School in town.

Construction began in 2014, so the street trees and yards are further along than newer phases.
Listings in October 2026 ran $440,000 for ranch resale up to $625,000 with the newest plans.
The Great Western Trail corridor is close for walking and biking toward Eaton and Windsor.
