Updated October 2026.
Sorrento is a platted residential subdivision inside the Town of Mead, Weld County. Compared with the town's older filings, it reads as newer construction with a uniform street and lot layout, which typically means contemporary floor plans, attached garages and finished or partially finished basements. Mead is a small town — roughly 5,000 people, incorporated in 1908 — but its position on US-66 between Longmont and the I-25 corridor gives it outsized practical value: about 10 to 15 minutes to Longmont, 20 to 25 minutes to Boulder, and a short hop to the Mead interchange for Fort Collins and Denver. St. Vrain Valley RE-1J serves the neighborhood with Mead Elementary, Mead Middle and Mead High School.
