Serving Larimer County
Deer Meadows (Deer Meadows Filing, part of the city's west-side PUD family) spreads along Loveland's far western edge where the plains meet the hogbacks of the Front Range foothills. The neighborhood was built from the 2000s with ranch, two-story, and walk-out homes on landscaped lots, many with direct views of Mariana Butte and Devils Backbone Open Space. Because the community sits at the base of the range, residents enjoy some of the best trail access in the city — Devils Backbone's iconic rock ridge and trail network is minutes from the neighborhood, and the Big Thompson River is close at hand. Despite the rural-feeling backdrop, Wilson Avenue's stores and restaurants are ten minutes east and downtown Loveland about fifteen, making Deer Meadows a balance of foothills privacy and suburban services, served by Thompson School District schools.
Deer Meadows is a newer west Loveland community near the Mariana Butte foothills with ranch and two-story homes, open-space views, and fast access to Devils Backbone Open Space and US 34.
Devils Backbone and Mariana Butte dominate the western skyline from many homes.
Devils Backbone Open Space — hiking and mountain biking — is minutes away.
