Serving Boulder County
Old North Longmont occupies the blocks immediately north of downtown, roughly between 9th and 13th Avenues from Main Street east toward Emery Street. The area was developed in the late 1800s and early 1900s as Longmont grew beyond its founding grid, and it is known for its brick and frame Victorians, Queen Anne homes, and Craftsman bungalows, many lovingly restored. Tree-lined streets and original alleys retain the district's turn-of-the-century character, and an active neighborhood association works to preserve it and host community events. Residents walk south to Main Street's restaurants, breweries, and shops, and the St. Vrain Greenway provides trail access across the city. Longmont High School, Westview Middle, and Central Elementary serve the area, and downtown Boulder is about 20 minutes away via Highway 119.
