Serving Boulder County
The Golden Ponds neighborhood takes its name from the Golden Ponds Nature Area, Longmont's beloved 40-acre park with three ponds, a half-mile of shoreline, and 1.7 miles of walking trails on the city's southwest side. Homes around the park were built largely from the 1990s through the 2010s — ranch, two-story, and patio plans, many backing to the ponds' open space or the nearby agricultural greenbelt. The neighborhood sits just off Hover Road and South Main Street, putting the Village at the Peaks, grocery, and the south Longmont retail corridor minutes away while downtown Longmont remains a ten-minute drive. St. Vrain Valley schools, including Alpine Elementary and Longmont High School, serve the area, and the constant parade of waterfowl and trail users gives the district a resort-like daily rhythm.
The Golden Ponds area is a southwest Longmont district of newer homes wrapped around the city's Golden Ponds Nature Area and its mile-long lake loops, combining wetland views with quick access to south Main Street.
