Serving Weld County

The Goodner Addition is one of La Salle's later in-town plats. Weld County records carry it as the Goodner 1st Filing, a compact residential filing on the east side of town where Goodner Avenue meets East Union Avenue. Unlike the additions laid out around the original townsite, this pocket was built out in the mid-1970s, and the housing shows it: single-family ranches of roughly 1,000 to 1,700 square feet with attached garages, low-pitch roofs and straightforward single-level floor plans. Lots are a consistent 7,000 square feet, so the streets read evenly — mowed front lawns, concrete driveways, mature shade trees and no through traffic. Recorded sales in the filing were $300,000 for a 1974 three-bedroom on Goodner Avenue and $385,000 for a 1975 three-bedroom, two-bath on East Union Avenue. There is no HOA and no metro district, which keeps ownership costs at principal, interest, Weld County taxes and insurance — the price-to-payment math that draws first-time buyers and downsizers who want to stay close to Greeley without Greeley prices. Location does the rest of the work. The neighborhood sits on the east edge of La Salle, minutes from US 85 and roughly 10 minutes from Greeley's shopping, medical corridor and the University of Northern Colorado. Main Park at North 2nd Street and 3rd Avenue and Memorial Park on Todd Avenue are both inside town, and Pete Mirich Elementary is at 300 1st Avenue with Valley Middle School two blocks away at 300 2nd Avenue. Schools are Weld County RE-1 (Valley), with Valley High School in Gilcrest.
The Goodner Addition is a small mid-1970s pocket on La Salle's east side — the Goodner 1st Filing off Goodner Avenue and East Union Avenue, where tidy ranch homes on 7,000-square-foot lots sell for $300,000–$385,000.
Weld County records carry the Goodner 1st Filing as a single residential plat inside La Salle town limits.
The two recorded sales came in at $300,000 and $385,000 — the low end of the La Salle resale market without giving up a garage or a yard.
No HOA and no metro district, so the payment is principal, interest, Weld County taxes and insurance.
